David retired in 2015 from the US Army after 33 years of military service including 25 years of active duty. He currently serves as the director of the HOPE Project and serves Soldiers and Families, Wounded Warriors and veterans. His many years of military service includes 16 years as an Army Chaplain where he deployed to Iraq twice, Afghanistan, Africa and Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His awards include three Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. David specialized in trauma, combat stress, child loss, grief, and family ministries. David is a graduate of Welch College, Southeastern Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Covenant Theological Seminary, the Army Command and General Staff College, US Army Chaplain Basic and Advance Courses, US Army Military Intelligence Center and School, the Basic Airborne Course and Clinical Pastoral Education. He is the coauthor of “First Aid for Veterans” and the author of “Operation Eternal Freedom” as well as numerous published articles for magazines and newspapers.

Tina Jackson came to Hope Project initially as a client but soon realized her calling to help others. Her passion and love for the animals on the farm has awarded her the opportunity to work one-on-one with our equines from ground manner training to starting them under saddle. She is also an EAGALA certified Equine Specialist and assists Chaplain David with therapy sessions.
Tabatha Marlow has been with Hope since 2017. She started as
a volunteer and is currently on the Board of directors and is the
farm/barn manager. Her most important role is managing the
care and maintenance of all our four-legged therapists. As an equine owner and animal lover she has devoted the past 6
years helping Hope Project grow so it can continue to provide
equine therapy to those in need.
Jessica Hendrix came to Hope Project as a volunteer in 2017.
Her love for horses started at a young age with ownership and participating in local horse shows. She is currently on the
Board of directors. She is by profession, a Veterinarian
technician and brings her experience to the farm to ensure our
therapists receive the care they deserve to be able to continue
Hope's mission.
Keven was raised in a military family and later would spend over
four years in the Army himself. He also served an additional
two years in the Army Reserve. Keven is a disabled veteran who
became part of the HOPE volunteer family shortly after the
Florida Panhandle, included the HOPE Project ranch was
devested by Hurricane Michael in 2018. He now serves as our
Promotional Director and is an invaluable member of our team.
Joshua Parker came to Hope in 2016. Joshua is a disabled Army veteran. He retired from the Military Police Corp. Joshua has a degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts that he puts to use by donating his time by updating our website and assisting with other graphics related tasks.
