Bonnie Blackmon

 Bonnie was born into an Air Force family to a now retired Master Sargent. As a child, she was introduced to the horse world via the discipline of Flat Seat equitation. Introduction to Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) and Special Education came with her first son, David, who was born with a brain tumor. Bonnie is not only an Eagala Certified Equine Specialist with her EagalaMilitary Services Individual Designation, she is also qualified as a P.A.T.H. International Therapeutic Riding Instructor and a P.A.T.H. International Equine Specialist. She was a part of the inaugural, “Horses helping Humans: Parelli and Therapeutic Horsemanship” program. In early 2019, after Hurricane Michael, Bonnie joined the HOPE Project, fulfilling her aspiration of combining her Christian faith with the EagalaModel. Bonnie and her husband, Greg, have been married for over 36 years. They have two children, David and Kevin .
